Namaste everyone.

I am really looking forward to making a start on this epic journey, and a big thank you to all of you for your support, encouragement, hospitality and warmth.

Preparing for the tour has taken a lot of time and effort, but I know it will be worth it in the end.

This is a story which is real, true and waiting to surface. I am merely going to be a messenger in this story, and I am already quite overwhelmed by the huge amount of positive work that is going on everywhere, and feel I will only be able to scratch the surface. However, what I feel confident about is that at the end, there will be a wide range of stories, and some very important and timeless wisdoms, which although forgotten, will begin to permeate the national psyche of Britain.

Immigrants do not come worthless into any country for the sake of greed or selfishness - they make a lot of sacrifices. They bring with them hope, enthusiasm, hunger to progress and succeed, their global contacts and networks, and a strong desire to build a collective future. In fact, in an era of globalisation, the immigrants are a key globalising force for any country. I will awaken Britain to this strength through the tour.

I am concerned about the cultural illiteracy in the nation. I am also concerned about the misunderstanding and disrespect there is of faith, especially among the educated and the powerful. I am also worried about the decline in our ethical values and actions - we desperately need more virtuous people and fewer geniuses. I am against the spread of materialistic values and thinking into every aspect of life, from food, to entertainment and even relationships.

Welcome aboard, and look forward to seeing you along the journey. The best thing you can do to join is to spread it far and wide to your friends and family. Of course, dont forget to shout your own Masala Story on this website!!!

The tour itinerary is linked below. I am in London on 1st Nov and 2nd Nov, and will have stories from the V&A Museum and LSE and the Sanatan Hindu Mandir in Wembley.

Best wishes,
