EMPOWERING CHILDREN

This is a very stimulating and contagious video about education. Kiran Sethi who runs Riverside School has created an educational laboratory and you can view her story here. The approach is experiential, inquisitive, infectious and above all, enabling kids to believe that they can make a difference - they need not accept the world as it is. Her school is already empowering and inspiring children everywhere.

Have we destroyed children's creativity and empowerment by structuring schools and curriculum so tightly that there is no soul left, for teachers and pupils alike? At work, do we inspire our employees or do we control them and destroy their passion and drive? Do schools promote a culture of dis-empowerment?

If not us, then who, If not now, then when, is her end quote.

Watch and be uplifted and energised. I did. Be the change you wish to see in the world. Here and Now.
